The scripture readings below are part of a two-year cycle that will take you through the Old Testament once, the New Testament twice, and the Psalms frequently.  There are readings for both morning and evening.  Each listing covers one week of scripture readings.

Wondering about the new “NIV” version of the Bible?

This new version (last year referred to as “NIV2011”) is out online and was available in print back in March 2011.  It replaces both the existing NIV (New International Version) and the TNIV (Today’s New International Version), of which neither will have new editions published after 2010.  So in 2011, we’ll use this new version (now called “NIV” instead of “NIV2011” as the full replacement).  If we use the old one from last year, we’ll refer to it as “NIV84” (1984).
